What makes a garment stand out isn’t always visible on the surface. It’s not just the color, the drape, or the way it fits when you glance in the mirror. Sometimes, it’s the story it carries. Our story doesn’t begin with style; it starts in the highlands of Peru, where fine fleece and hand-harvested cotton have shaped not only our collections, but our identity.
For over 40 years, we’ve honored the art of working with two of Peru’s most exceptional fibers—alpaca clothing from Peru and Pima cotton. We don’t just use them. We’ve built our entire brand around what they represent: tradition, quality, and quiet luxury that speaks for itself.
The Alpaca We Choose Says Everything
We don’t work with standard yarns. The coarse alpaca often sold in markets across Peru never makes its way into our production line. Instead, we source only Royal Alpaca and Baby Alpaca—two fibers that make up less than 15 percent of all alpaca yarn produced.
Royal Alpaca, harvested exclusively from one- to two-year-old animals, is finer, warmer, and significantly softer than anything labeled “regular.” It’s taken in small yields, mostly from the neck, where the fleece is silkiest. Baby Alpaca, sheared from the underside of the animal, offers its softness and flexibility. Both are rare. Both are treated with care.
You’ll find our Baby Alpaca primarily in our LINK stitch sweaters, which have become essential for those who value structure and movement—particularly golfers. These styles breathe exceptionally well, allow generous motion, and never sacrifice sophistication for comfort. That balance is the reason our men’s alpaca sweaters have become more than seasonal favorites—they’re long-term companions.
When Cotton Is Grown Right, It Feels Different
Peruvian Pima cotton is not a generic export. It is location-specific, growing only in northern valleys where altitude and humidity collide in perfect sync. That environment creates an “extra-long staple” fiber—strong, smooth, and naturally lustrous. Unlike conventional cotton, ours is harvested entirely by hand. There are no broken fibers. No stress from machines. Just cotton in its purest form, preserved from plant to thread.
We work with this cotton across three structures. Jersey, which is sleek and smooth; Pique, with its subtle texture and breathability; and Interlock, a double-knit fabric that holds weight while still gliding gently across the skin. These aren’t just construction choices—they’re functional design features that align each garment with its purpose. Whether it’s a polo, pullover, or sweater, the fabric isn’t an afterthought. It’s the beginning of everything.
More Than Collections. This Is Our Standard.
Every fiber we source and every silhouette we shape is the result of decades spent refining—not rushing—the craft. Our commitment to integrity is what defines our alpaca collections, from breathable golf layers to polished outerwear. This isn’t fashion as a trend. It’s garment-making as storytelling.
You’re not just wearing something warm or light. You’re wearing the result of hands that know how to handle rare yarns without damaging their essence. You’re choosing fibers that speak to a place, not a process. And you’re investing in clothing that doesn’t compromise where it matters most—at the origin.
At the heart of it all, premium quality alpaca sweaters aren’t defined by labels or marketing terms. They’re defined by feel. By where they come from. And by how long they last.
That’s what we bring you. Not just alpaca clothing from Peru, but the legacy behind it—stitched into every piece.
